Dear Doris
The news has sadden many here
Concerns are deep for you we fear
But in your corner there is no less
Doctor of Doctors, the very best
In His arms that reached for you
Some time ago who saw you through
Are you he loves that knows your heart
Your soul and what always imparts
His work in you is far from done
The best of you will rise, become
Daughter, poet, dear friend to all
Sister in CHRIST you now I call
This episode that went array
Has caused damage but we will pray
To Him who knows just what to do
Father we draw our strength from too
You are blessed and need to come
Return and write and be the one
Who shines His light upon this site
Through you whose writes give many sight
This pain that aches what many hold
Your heart all love, and your dear soul
Will soon be gone for He has said
Not yet my child, get out of bed
Return to where you need to be
To write again with spirit free
Of all the wrong that He will right
Today we pray you're well tonight
You see this place is lost without
You Doris, I write about
Our Country Poet who needs to be
Where she belongs for all to read
May the healing hands of our maker bless you tenfold today
