Think! My friends on this wonderful fact
Which should be mankind's ultimate goal
The promise found in the Words of God
Has made on me an everlasting impact
I often ponder while the world rushes by
What it will be like on that glorious morn
To awaken abruptly at the trumpet's sound
Excitement replacing our anxious cry
With outstretched hands towards the sky
Christians will welcome the King of Kings
Our majestic Creator in glory will come
There won't be time for a last goodbye
We'll see the dead rise from hidden graves
What joy to join them on an upward course
Angels will escort us with glistening wings
Through clouds of white like fluffy waves
Yes there will be a commotion great
Scared sleepy eyes will blink and stare
The wind's mighty roar around our ears
Will accompany us all to Heaven's gate
The Lord Jesus Christ we will then greet
He'll invite us into our Paradise home
We'll follow Him to our mansions large
On streets of gold beneath our feet
Don't you be surprised when on that day
You'll be awaken with shouts and cries
"Arise you servants of the Lord our King
Prepare your souls for eternity's stay!"
