 THE TRAVELING LIFELONG BUSH POET

IF MOSS WAS MEMORIES

I got on the road so long ago
And traveled more than any know
To see this planet beyond compare
And all it beauty its all out there
Met so many real hearts of love
And souls Id have never known
If Id a simply stayed at home
Helped endless being in the right place
And put a life long smile on many a face
Lent a hand as the miles would un ravle
And loved it all in the name of travel
They say gods apology sometimes for family
Are real true friends you come to meet and see
But they also say that a rolling stone
Gatheres no moss un less you stay home
Well if moss was memories that cant be true
As Ive got more than many and then a few
Ive known, seen things they never taught in school
Educated by university life far now from fool
This planet in its struggle all thanks to man
Is still surviving as best it can
But after all of endless said and done
In the end of it all nature we ll find has won
But if they honestly believe that a rolling stone
Gathers no moss and should have stayed at home
Well I guess they really should think again
As that far from the truth it should be plane
If moss was memories then I now know its true
Ive a whole lot more than most and then a few .
