Sometimes I day-dream
about your arms around my body
those significant moments
when I'm lonely
and you are a phone call away
But it'd be a violation to dial you
I hardly know
you
You
hardly know
me
so why do I day-dream
about your arms around my body?
I hardly know
you
You hardly know
me
so why do I day-dream
about the comfort of your voice?
I do not know the reality of your desires
I do not know the realty of your mind
I can only assume
I can only wonder
I can only choose to trust what you've said
Or I can only choose to not believe
These moments,
When I feel the wonder
and I can't seem to push it away
I don't know what to do
and
anxiety fills my spirit
Sometimes I day-dream
about your arms around my body
about your arms around my body
those significant moments
when I'm lonely
and you are a phone call away
But it'd be a violation to dial you
I hardly know
you
You
hardly know
me
so why do I day-dream
about your arms around my body?
I hardly know
you
You hardly know
me
so why do I day-dream
about the comfort of your voice?
I do not know the reality of your desires
I do not know the realty of your mind
I can only assume
I can only wonder
I can only choose to trust what you've said
Or I can only choose to not believe
These moments,
When I feel the wonder
and I can't seem to push it away
I don't know what to do
and
anxiety fills my spirit
Sometimes I day-dream
about your arms around my body
