 Taste Like Salvation
Photobucket

Consume this thought, savor it's taste
If for awhile, in mind let it baste
Sweet in nature, sweeter when time
Becomes the last of you they'll find

Moved on you did from all what was
Another place and all because
You took time to taste of Him
That saved the best fat free of sin

Nourish yourself, upon Him feed
For in the end life's road will lead
To all you sought not brought with you
Bad taste once known inside heart too

Unlike the fruit you once would bite
His fruit gives strength that wins the fight
Where hunger caused your soul it's blight
Where now enough is fed by Holy Light

My walk to feed seems never ending
I cannot say or be pretending
Completely full for a grand banquet
Awaits my soul in clouds that blanket

This table seats more than a few
This table seats all those we knew
Where food for thought is always served
To all a place with seat reserved

Hunger will pain and cause one to
Seek what fills the need in you
My hope is that it's for the bread
That served on mount five thousand fed

Simple food no need to wear
That famished face you always bare
Because this meal we chose to savor
Removes all hunger, taste CHRIST my Savior
