The Grass Is Browner
skipping backward throughout time
to a place where you were mine
not a care in both our worlds
not a shell without its pearl
it's a shame we have a past
soaked in perfume ever-last
three years etched in tablet stone
fear not of walking earth alone
how do I speak to you in sorry
without foot-printing melancholy
when I find a way to know
I'll buy you tickets to my show
