Behind Loves Door
Allowed I have, returned to where
My heart I left where once it bared
All of me, all we held
Of love once had just once we fell
This side of me we put on shelf
What good is love if no one else
That gathers dust and cobwebs are
Like night without its fill of stars
Challenge we do ourselves to see
What once was you, a part of me
That seems to stay where no one comes
To see how life now death becomes
Hold we do in hands shaking
A fragile piece of life we're faking
It just that way where tears no more
Can flood the room behind hearts door
Closed we did and walked away
From chapter one where still we pay
Respects to one that use to be
A better man more lost than free
OK will be what comes today
To knock and interrupt our yesterdays
That come at times to bring me to
This place where love is still held to
Now grasp is all of this bad dream
Brief hold of soul whose silenced scream
Will fade again when close we do
This closet bare except of you
