When I fall short
No cake walk is what it is
Saved by grace and only his
Can bring all things to change for good
Can make brand new if one just would
Give Christ your life and press ahead
Know the Bread five thousand fed
Who said come forth and raised the dead
Yes it's all true be not misled
He walked and gave a seed to sow
To all back then, today to know
That seed of faith, mustard in size
Will bring you joy, where truth abides
A friend and father all should know
Before their time one day they'll go
To stand before the son of man
To walk on clouds no longer damned
When I fall short, He reels me in
This fisher of men who knows my sin
Who brought me life and died for me
So I can live eternally
When I fall short, I know he won't
Let me fall my antidote
Is one who loves with no conditions
Upon all souls he reconditions
When I fall short, He won't
