I've always been told about religion
I never seemed to get it
As i grew society made decisions for me
The nights and days i never prayed i felt OK
I never prayed
The days i prayed five times and the nights i prayed
I felt like i never did before in my life
I never felt such relief
I felt a burden lifted from my chest like i was free
The AL mighty had always shown mercy to me in my life
He always helped me
All i had to do was obey Him
Praying five times a day aint gonna hurt me or harm me
So what is the harm
Wearing a scarf will only protect my Chasity and my hair
So whats the harm
A jilbaab covers me and disguises me from evil in people's eyes
So i don't see the harm
Eating a certain way oh boy where is the harm in that
Vegans eat their way, so do vegetarians and so i will eat my way too
WHERE IS THE HARM
I am well balanced and nutritional
So there is no harm
Everything my Lord says i shouldn't do is for protection of myself
Not drinking Alcohol
I never drank in my life
Pressure was only by society
I kept saying NO
NO
NO
NO and they all gave in asking me coz they knew i would never give in to them and their persuasion
Its so bad for you and you're only doing more harm than anything
I don't see anything good
Who cares i've never drank in my life and i will never ever want to
I don't even care
I AM DIFFERENT TO YOU
I WILL WALK BEAUTIFULLY DOWN THE STREET IN PRIDE OF BEING WHO I AM
I AM PROUD TO BE A MUSLIM
I AM A GOOD PERSON SO THERE IS NO HARM
I will never ever use a bomb
People think i am bad when they see the Jilbaab
Some say i got something in my scarf
Nothing, but to hold it down
Its not like i prick people in the streets
Who they think i am
They couldn't be more wrong
I love who i am and i follow the Prophet may the peace and blessings of the Al-mighty be upon Him and all who follow
His heart ten times sweeter than mine
Ten times sweeter than the sweetest you'll ever know on this earth
He is Perfect in human form, but he is only a human like you and I
To follow him is only gonna do you good with no harm
He too made mistakes, but he showed you how to correct them mistakes and how to live right
What he put himself through
Oh read the history
So many things he taught melted my heart especially what he went through
Just to make us understand Islam
He is saving us from a eternity of doom
He learned us to love the Al mighty and earn his forgiveness by repenting to the most merciful
I can't change who i am
This is how i wanna be for the rest of my life
I don't care what i can't do
I am going to be who i am
If you don't understand this path
Its the only road I'll ever go down
You just have to understand
Maybe you could listen for once
Stop accusing us of being a terroist
How do you know if they were even Muslims
Coz that aint Islam
It never said in the Quran to damage people
To kill the innocent and destroy lives of innocent people
Muslims are to only bring world peace
Not evil wars for nothing like to make people's lives hell
THEY WERE HYPORCRITES
Those evil people exist and so stop accusing us innocent people
We just wanna live our lives in peace
