Somewhere Between The Screens
Warmth is felt, streaming from screen
Upon my eyes and heart that leans
Against shoulder I've never seen
But there I rest and share my dreams
Words will ride on midnight skies
Sharing of truths where barred are lies
In thoughts expressed to leave our mark
Upon a write, made of loves spark
We serve a God and share our pains
We live to rise not live in vain
In visits made though brief they are
We both will wish upon some star
Escape with words a world where love
Is just a word and not shared of
But comfort comes and peace does too
On voyage ours that makes for two
Between the screens we look upon
Writes will come and make us one
For it is where we come to feed
Where writes are right, our very need
So look upon that screen of yours
Write of all you have endured
This day like mine where words will make
A smile appear and breath mine take
