Frozen Moment
As my life passes from one scene to the next;
Occasionally, a spectacular event comes by.
Etched deeply into my soul is this slice of life;
That it becomes a frozen moment in my heart.
Full of the same vital emotions of love and passion;
It captures each sense into it's orbit, life remains.
Time passes, life changes, worlds pass into the night;
But I will always have this precious frozen moment.
I protect this gift with all my resources from thieves;
Locking it deep into the hidden recesses of my heart.
It will remain my memory for all eternity, a part of me;
Inseparable from my soul, my frozen moment with you.
Love is sometimes fickle, flitting away like a butterfly;
Unable to bind love, it is always free, always alive.
Never static, love is an ever changing splendid thing;
Touched by your love in that frozen moment of my past.
