Sit down, and let's talk awhile.
You don't seem to come around
As often, was it sometime I said.
That drove us apart.
I can't recall having offended you.
Though that's often my lot not thinking
Before destroying another's, heart.
Sit awhile, and talk sure it can't
Hurt to smile, and say hello.
I'm thinking wouldn't it be nice
If once again you shook hands
With my, heart.
Not often I get the chance to
Say how much I missed you.
Please don't go, sit awhile.
Whilst I try explain how much
I regret the time we have spent apart.
Such fond memories of being with you
Those quiet times that went drifting by
Sharing our love, and dreaming, dreams together
