Magic stairway
I might travel the stairway
That leads me to your door
Push aside my wildest fears
Be allowed to love you more
Set aside the darkest nights
Bring sunshine after my rain
A dream that only i can hold
Is just to have you back again
I thought i saw your footsteps
But it was another in your shoes
A million faces in the crowd
Like finding a needle in a box of screws
In dreams its all for real
But dreams they never come true
I was not blessed to find
That ever loving man like you
Maybe tomorrow who knows
Or some bright sunny day
I will find that magic stairway
To lead you back my way.
