Look into your heart if your are in love.
When did those tumblers fall into place?
Was it love at first sight, or did it grow;
From that first moment , did you know?
What characteristics first lured you;
Filling that empty place in your heart?
These are the questions that help you
Remember your love in it's early stages.
Before the realities, before the history;
Before the memories of life and death.
What was that trigger for that first arrow?
Was it Cupid's that brought you together.
Curiosity, you might ask; just being nosy?
No, not at all; you see, I'm a lover of love.
All forms, all shapes, all ages; love strikes
And brings us each to this level ground.
Romance, passion, lust; flowing in the soul;
Embracing that special someone so dear.
Chosen by chance, like playing spin the bottle;
Or did destiny bring your relationship to pass.
What is this law of nature that welds souls;
Uniting two dreams into one desire, one life.
Love, the very word make my heart dance;
My heart has been drawn due to attraction.
