What I See
What I See
Maybe I'll look back and forget this
and how idiotic and unjust I am
but everyone cares
it's just everyone's quantity of concern varies
When I remember how much I care,
it's really painful.
I never understood the lack of balance
the unfairness of wealth and poverty
of happiness and sorrow
of beauty and unpleasantness
everyone talks about how they
hate you so much
and how they
love you so much…
that's how I feel
but maybe everyone feels like their life is
so good
and so bad
all at the same time (no matter what they got)
I've always been a believer
but sometimes I wish I was blind
faith would be so effortless
