Poetic Verses
The Dream
One night my mind in a relaxed state of peace and tranquility
Like as though under anesthesia I went out instantly
Then as though it was a dream or a trance
My being was into a time and place in the distance
A land so picturesque and all so fertile
Luxuriant vegetation sprung forth for all aspect of the soil
In the distance the mountain tall with summits so majestic
Cast a shadow over the area and the height seem so uniformly
As I slowly walked though , filled with such awe and wonder
Being so astound and dumbfounded by such a splendor
Feeling the fever pitched excitement and such rapture
In this state there will be too much to capture.
There were such an assortment of flower which such an aroma
Whose scent filled the are with such an intoxicating aura
The multiplicity of fragrances all combined
Made the steps felt out of time
How could I forget the many exotic birds whose singing
Was like the synchrony of an orchestra worth hearing
Their colored plumage decorated the foliage
Similar to that seen by a kaleidoscope ‘s when it is engage
As I wander through those wonderful trees
With scented fruit all beckoning and appearing to tease
Taking my time picking and tasting find it hard to make a decision
Because the succulence and fructose seemed measure to precision
Some that heighten and awoke in me a sort of curiosity
How all the animals not matter the specie lived together in unity
No predator prey was on display as it is here
And the vulture its habits did not display,
It would have taken time to capture all that scenery
Like the landscapes decorated with rivers, streams springs and valleys
As it often happen s though it may seems long it was only temporary
Then one is awaken back to the world of reality.
