I sit on my porch tonight and stare
at the endless stars above.
I close my eyes tight and
wish you were here, my love.

I want you to feel the passion,
the love I have for you.
So place your hand on my heart.
Can you feel it too?
No words are spoken,

Can forever be captured
within a moment of time?
But again I open my eyes
to disappointment once more.
A cold wave of sadness
cuts deep to my core.
Yet her beautiful music continues
in my heart to this day.
Do you not hear it love?
It's our song that she plays.
