A Friend
In times when you are stretched to the extent
Moments where there is nothing but torment
These are the instances when you need that comforting hand
And these are also tests to see if you have that true friend.
In friendship there is adhesion as well as great expectation
Because there is always strength in the association
In this there conversation , criticism and objection
Thus bringing some form of maturity to the union.
Like most things people have their own perception of a friend
Some want one that at all times to lend
Support to them despite the other 's personal situation
Seeing themselves as the only one in a dire position
Being a friend and having a friend is a two way street
It is not always that you are the one feel a bit of defeat
Must always remember to be ready to listen and console
Because that degree of support was given to you when you were in a hole.
It is good to a have a friend who is will to speak frankly
Do not lace opinion with sweet talk and flattery
As human we love to told what we want to hear
But that will neither teach us anything nor take us anywhere.
A friend will always accept your fallibility
Because that is the shortcoming of humanity

Some want a friend that they could dominate
So that all their habit they to replicate
Being selfish and cannot see the problem
Because they think the world revolve around them.
Having a friend and friendship is more valuable than any precious gem
So invaluable and have potential to be everlasting
But those involve should always understand
That friendship will outlive and outlast each and every man.
