What Has Become
No longer will I ride terrain
Seeking lost love that in me pains
A quest unending, a failed journey
A passion sought for us none any
We kiss with words but feel not warmth
Our heart confessed what in it daunts
Darkness not light, candle blown out
Today our search ends with this bout
Battles fought along the way
To fill this void that made us slave
This soul that searched no longer breathes
Of love we sought in eyes deceived
Pain has won and breached the walls
Of sentiment, wounded now crawls
Dragging itself along with body
Whats left of us, fragments, somebody
Let go the hand of GOD today
Let go to what upon we prayed
A piece of joy, a peace once known
Today begins the end now sown
Fear not for death won't have it's way with me
Hunger pains our search you see
Has given way to what can't be
But cleared the path for course lonely
Gasp for air just one more time
Breathe we say to write whats mine
Another one but not of you
Reasons to give, someone breakthrough
