 Reflections of My Heart

I'll Be ღ KKD ღ

I'll Be

That dreaded call from you
I received just last nite
Our tears fell like rain
but I couldn't hold you tight

I couldn't dry your tears
or easy your heavy burden
I could only listen
to a friends heart broken

The miles of seperation
have never been more evident
But so much love and compassion
to you is being sent

We can not question
His all knowing reason
For each one of us
there is a season

We can not know His plan
for why He took her now
I just know that I was left
to comfort you somehow

To dry your tears
and help ease today's pain
The sun will shine again
as you walk from the rain

When you are ready
here is my hand
Take it my friend
as you journey back upon the sand

Just know I am here
to catch each tear that falls
Keeping my phone close
and to answer your painful calls

My friend we go back
so many many years
so many times we've dried
each others falling tears

By your side I'll stand
with your heart you must see
That forever and always
I'll Be....
