SINGING THE BLUES

I don't need another tear to cry
So shut the door when you say goodbye
Do you think my heart is broken
By those last words to me were spoken
One door shuts another door opens
No more of your laundry is a soaken
When your at the tavern telling lies
Back home I am seeing clear blue skies
By the way half of yours now is mine
So I drank the rest of that bottle of wine
If you think I'm back here singing the blues
The girls are knocking on the door hearing the news
There's heart, you, me, and breaking up
All I need now is western music a bumming cup
Some day I might be voted poetry of the day
But I won't join a club no matter what you say
