Aftermath
Have you ever being in such a situation
That will in your mind pose the question
When as scene that you are seeing
Makes you wonder if those involve are human being
Most disaster like that of an earthquake
Seldom gave any warning to indicate
But the development of a tropical hurricane
Is often followed from the moment it is forming
Some people take little or no precaution
Even thought they were totally aware of the situation
Saying the in prior times they did so much preparation
Only to hear that is has passed by and continued over the ocean
There was s time when one struck and there was so much devastation
It caught some in such an embarrassing position
Some have to be rescued from houses, roofs and some swam too
Stretching the rescue forces even through the night too.
But in the aftermath some believe it was quite fit
To do some looting it was disgraceful I have to admit
They pushed and destroyed and trampled seeming so ill-mannered
Believe me the vermin not so far way looked even more cultured.
It is strange how some people believe class and economic structure
Should be a very important feature during a natural disaster
Still believing that there still have some clout in such a situation
And should not have to be in a line to get any form of dispensation.
I hope that somewhere they did or find time to read
That disasters does not differentiate any color, class or creed
When they strike there is little or no remorse
For anyone or anything that happens to be in its course.
