Drawn near to you if for this moment
It's colder still, colder this torment
Than it has been but feel we do
Your warm presence, I know it's you
Forgive my words that press too hard
Just like the kiss I savor far
Far so far yet close you feel
This moment mine let no one steal
Fear not distance will keep at bay
These crazy thoughts for them we prayed
Maybe all wrong but feels so right
You feel today as heavens light
Shed your light upon my darkness
Tired we are feelings these heartless
Come again to torture me
Come to say as one decrees
No good are you your time has past
This brokenness will never pass
But in this moment I breathe again
For Angel you to come and mend
This wing of mine of one fallen
From height they soared of one stalling
For time to pass to fly again
To fly in love if time one lend
I thirst for more than company
I crave the need that's ecstasy
No not the drug but just you
My antidote to see me through
Brokenness has all but claimed
The very part that drives insane
A man who knows but sentiment
That sears a heart empty of content
Close I will with this goodbye
Breathe of you with one last sigh
For pushed I have too hard my dear
Instilling a share of crazy we fear
