High on a mountain top
I look far across the land
I see fields of lemon grass
where once you took my hand
Glistening in the noonday sun
on a beautiful summer day
dancing in the soft wind
I see our spirits at play
I see you hiding from me
behind our willow tree
whispering a soft love tune
on this warm day of June
I feel the warmth of you
as you rush out to greet me
arms embracing my spirit
as tears fall neath our willow tree
Keep me in your heart for now
I'll return when noon is high
On another warm summer day
together again we shall play
