She Became The Best of Me
Where darkness ruled and heart succumbed
She would become the only one
To heal the beast of troubles grand
Of love lost found monster turned man
You've probably heard of story told
Of fairy tale of young and old
That put sincere back into dear
That calmed the storms that one would fear
Of Beautiful and Beauty in
Of heart and soul where to begin
Where right as rain quenches ones thirst
Where heart now filled with joy does burst
Where Pumpkin turns into grand carriage
As dreams fulfilled become of marriage
Where loneliness was slayed now dead
As life becomes a love spoon fed
Pieces of dreams that once were lost
Puzzled by years many the cost
What price to pay to breathe again
To have someone just comprehend
These things became the best of me
Simple in nature pure ecstasy
A pulse once gone with perfect beat
The c that spells ones world complete
No need to chase or run no more
No need to knock on loves closed door
For now true peace abides where none
Would be left for, for this someone
