Sometimes...
Sometimes I wish I could go back
Beyond the seals of yesterday
To be with you but one more time
And say the things you should have known...
Sometimes I have those dreams again
To hold your hand, to kiss your lips
To stay awake and hold you close
The way I know it should have been...
Sometimes the world is nought to me
For nothing means as much as you
Not the stars and not the moon
Not the flowers when they bloom...
Sometimes the past is all we have
That brings a smile and makes us live
For in that world perfection is
A moment sweet, a taste of bliss...
Sometimes I touch your heart with mine
Though you may never know it's me
The stars they may appear to be
The source of such a longing sweet...
Sometimes I even write my pain
In lines that make no sense or rhyme
But still I want the world to know
I loved you then, I love you now...
