Poems of Lighthouse Bob
Soft Whispers -- Acrostic #466
Soft Whispers Soft whispers sweep the arid fields Of wheat grown white for harvest's yield Free-flowing in the warmth of June That tempts the wind to drift in tune With children's laughter raised in dreams Hopscotching over roads and streams Intrigued by spirits who rejoice Surrendered hearts in soft still voice Pressing gently to the ear Enticing all who will to hear Robins, finches, wrens and jays Sharing joys this summer's day. God bless, Lighthouse Bob |
