The punishment should always fit the crime
So make sure the offender does their time
Or the victim will be left feeling aggrieved
Knowing they`ve been let down and deceived.
Sometimes we have to become the sleuth
In order for us to get to the truth,
We demand `justice` it`s only fair
`Cause those that wronged us just didn`t care.
An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth
This is what we`d like, I speak the truth,
But the do-gooders always step in
When this happens `injustice` does then begin.
It`s not the real world these people live in
Or they`d make the offender pay for their sin,
It`s us the common people that pay the price
For the do-gooders trying to be ever so nice.
You need to experience crime first-hand
Until such a time you`ll not understand
Why our cry for `justice` has to be heard
And the fight should go on undeterred.
If the punishment does not fit the crime
The victim is then failed every time,
`JUSTICE` Where is the `justice` in this?
This is what I call an `INJUSTICE`.
