Pushed into Humility
Accept feelings of humility
when you are treated low,
taken as an act of kindness
from those you do not know.
A push in the right direction
towards a path of light,
faith is strengthened deeply
and you are living right.
Without pride in your life
you can make it through,
happiness differs in ways
when you are being true.
Follow the Lord in everything
and you will know the way,
mean words come and go
and blame may run the day.
At times you feel angry
allowing the wrong guide,
in your lowly state of being
lay hate or revenge aside.
Let tears flow from your heart
and put it in God's hands,
God loves the humble person
and He truly understands.
