Strength of Faith
When people try to harm me
the pain is felt on every side,
if I say a prayer from the heart
I know God will be my guide.
I give my problems to the Lord
and promise to obey His word,
gossip may be there to hurt
when lies are usually heard.
My pain rises up to the Lord
and He helps me to endure,
He will not let me suffer
from words that are unpure.
I understand God has a plan
and a way to help me through,
I must be living righteously
by doing what I know is true.
Seek out the good in life
when surrounded by the bad,
true happiness is always nearby
if faith is the strength you have.
