Crazy Scared
Dark was the time I spent
sitting there deep in thought,
I was feeling extremely out of it
and with my parents I had fought.
I was almost taken from my family
when I acted out of fear,
screaming, crying, I dialed 911
but my story wasn't very clear.
Nobody believed my words
when I told them what was true,
I was put in the psych ward
and I didn't know what to do.
Medication became my friend
because I thought I was being stalked,
I was feeling scared of everybody
and the way that they all talked.
Those days my fear took control
I felt alone with the tears I cried,
now I stay calm, quiet and hidden
and my pills cannot be denied.
