Alive in Spirit
My family was left with memories
when Mother passed away,
she has always been close to us
and she's thought of every day.
The spirit world is on the earth
and a veil keeps loved ones near,
we cannot see but we can feel
that in spirit she is still here.
Death brings the spirit peace
and in heaven there is pure bliss,
it is normal for everyone
to mourn for those we miss.
Eternal life is in my faith
and someday we'll walk in light,
we'll see our loved ones again
if we choose to live life right.
