God's Love Through a Child
Into every life the rain falls
leaving puddles of strife,
a reminder that God watches
and helps us get through life.
It's not the simple moments
when God shows us He cares,
He is always watching over us
and every thought He shares.
God is the only one who knows
who we are and how we feel,
when we face the storms in life
we know God's love is real.
A child is but close to God
in ways that we don't see.
they are the most innocent
in words that show honesty.
When it rains and pours down
upon the heads of everyone,
be like that pure little child
that tells you when to run.
