Shaken Stiff
Why I shook my head so hard
was a question we all had,
it was not an easy thing
and I certainly wasn't glad.
My neck was stiff and sore
and the shake wouldn't cease ,
I tried to hold my breath
hoping that I'd feel peace.
With my neck extremely stiff
my head continued to shake,
the movements were involuntary
and it was more than I could take.
My neck was as stiff as it could get
and it hurt to move my head,
later diagnosed with Tourettes
I'd finally found peace instead.
