Email Poem | Today's Poetry

 How You Like Me Now?
This ones for the brand new you
Who stuck it out when back in school
They picked apart, all thought of less
Today jaws drop, Fox all confess

This ones for you who tried to be
A friend but many loser they'd see
Today your songs now blaze the charts
So much for those that broke your heart

This ones for the nerd, four eyes
Your name back then, you they despised
Just because you hit the books
Now whose giving who second looks

This ones for you sincere that gave
More in life once his love slave
He'd beat down to keep you from
Realizing your wealth and then some

This ones for me and you now one
Who lived our lives for that someone
Who'll wish real soon they still had you
Too late baby with them we're through
