Beautiful Summer Days
It is the beginning of summertime
when flowers bloom and children play,
birds in the trees sing a beautiful song
and good weather warms the day.
A sight as marvelous as the butterfly,
the sun shines down a feeling of hope,
a time to share the beauty within
and prayers at heart will help us cope.
The beautiful ways of nature,
pray to God with thanks and love,
feel the calm of a gentle breeze
as the skies show blue above.
Birds fly in the shape of vees,
the grass turns a perfect green,
bees fly among the flowers
where beauty can be seen.
