Mirrored In Eyes
In eyes green, sometimes cool blue
Is me mirrored inside of you
It's where I feel I need to be
Forevermore, eternally
I look across white sheets your face
Becomes the path my fingers trace
Eyes that call for me to touch
The warmth in them I longed for much
A haze around them brought closer still
My hand to feel shaken more thrilled
Soft your lips, pink soft marshmallows
Softer still were their hellos
No need for lipstick or lip gloss
Au natural they lead me lost
To press mine against them too
This moment ours, moment all you
Across my hands will draw the place
Where love is real and warm embrace
Becomes the act that follows through
The need to be right there with you
Breakfast at Tiffany's, no not for us
more like Cracker Barrel simply our lust
Is where we shared some Apple Butter
Where I'll not have again with another
Japanese fine fare cuisine
Kabuki the place - dinner of dreams
Where fire roared and rise did steam
In eyes all yours I could be seen
Driven was one who came to see
The gift GOD saved all this for me
Would bring peace I have not known
A heart to call my very own
As time would come for me to go
My fill in eyes I hope still shows
In hers where all of me she bared
The part of her returned in stare
