Half Of My Heart
Displaced it is and looked we have
Worn out and tired the other half
Of me I left when I got home
Leaving my half to fend for its own
Beats once were two now only one
Become the beginning of what I have done
Painful the feeling when heart one is reeling
Beating less every minute this loss non appealing
Half of my heart I left with you dear
The other half with me now sheds great tears
For lonely became when goodbyes were said
Causing deep thoughts of you in my head
Brain now malfunctions and bumps into walls
Cushion my body almost in free fall
Dampens the pain my half now feels
Digging real deep, we now dig our heels
Foundation still shaky as hands now mine tremble
Reminders of love thought of that resemble
A face only yours can bring to peace too
Other half of my heart that resembles you
Yep, half my of heart you took in your hands
Half of what use to be half of this man
Seeking you baby, in great demand
Today I will try to put it on Ice
Someone would give me two cents and advice
Leave not your heart when you can't be there
For lonely you'll be, much weight one half bares
