Date With The Rain
No way to hide inside of me
Where pain now builds no one will see
But from Brown eyes I cannot stop
The tears that rain Ill need not mop
You see outside today it pours
Where camoflauge will hide it more
Where water drips from head to toe
As rain becomes all that will show
You will not see these tears of mine
They'll run with rain and just in time
They will combine, run side by side
These friends of mine with loss abide
Wave I will to passerbys
They'll not see of how we'll try
To hide our face and notice me
But tears will fall no one will see
Sighs become our closest friends
Stuck it out until the end
Became the now the here and after
From distance heard is someones laughter
Suck it up and while we're there
We'll cowboy up, go back upstairs
To write this one for her to know
Broken for now, from this I'll grow
