 Pages Of A Woman's Soul

Happines, by Ghandi Pictures, Images and Photos

Happiness is elusive
in the wake of fractured dreams,
but capturing every precious moment
and piecing them together helps to
forge a fortress in the soul –
a tower of hope.

Building on those fleeting
scenes of living that bring a smile,
the ones that remain in afterglow
long beyond their conclusion,
is the thing that defeats
the demons of despair.

The more we replay the joy
within our minds, greater is the
gulf between that yearning in our
hearts for gladness and peace,
and the wickedness of ingratitude
that keeps us woebegone.

Take fast hold of your thoughts,
close your eyes and reminisce,
let all of the anger, frustration, hurt
and disappointment melt away;
open your spirit and gather in
the jewels of jubilation…

…and Paradise will be yours
