In cold of a stormy winter's fear
my lonely heart longs to have you here
to feel secure by having you near
Just to have your body close to hold
feeling your love's warmth within my soul
is more than I could ever behold
An open fire lighting darkness away
strews shadows of intimate love my way
calling out for you to come and stay
As love calls high in eerie shrill
in winter winds blowing over every hill
I hear your voice in the winter chill
If only our love could find a way
fires of evil would not keep you away
in another world our love must stay
