He's just a lonesome cowboy
Traveling down the dusty trail,
Lost his girl to a drunken cowpoke
Now he's finally out on bail..

<♥>

He rode into town for a brew or two
With his new gal riding piggyback,
He went to find a room for the night
And promised to be right back..

<♥>

His girl was all for a night of fun
As she danced with scores of dudes,
With her cowboy gone for awhile
She was free to throw off her shoes..

<♥>

It wasn't long before she was claimed
By a stranger looking for some fun,
Who did not see the light of day
As he was shot down by cowboy's gun..

<♥>

So now `Lonesome Cowboy` is on the run..
