Hold Fast to Faith
God alone will have the right,
To avenge in His sight;
Only God will pay them back,
For the faith that they lack.
Falling into His hands,
Not following commands;
Is a terrifying thing,
From judgment it will bring.
So remember the past,
The shadows that it cast;
The truth that you had learned,
Bridges that have been burned.
Sometimes feeling insane,
When enduring the pain;
Not really difficult,
To publicly insult.
When you mistreat others,
Which are Christian brothers;
You also mistreat the Lord,
Snubbing the blood that poured.
So hold fast to the Lord,
It will bring a great reward;
With a faith not to stray,
That urges the same way.
