Gently guiding my soul to deeper things;
Urging me to take that next step forward.
Not letting my fears and shyness to hinder;
Drawing me with your kind words to walk.

Living in my self imposed prison too long;
You jingled the keys to my path of freedom.
The pathway is rocky, full of twists and turns;
But well worth the struggle to see the beauty.

Walking into the afternoon sun, warm on my face;
I stretch out my body, breathe into my soul.
Joy resides in my heart, even with the scars;
Healing comes in humans, in friendship, in love.
Inspiration
The future is bright as I walk alive in this moment;
Gentle arms of this Mother Earth embrace me.
Freedom rings, resonating from my souls depth;
I walk into this day boldly, full of power and love.
