No Gratitude

When I work so hard to please you
I get nothing back
When I try so hard to make you love me
I get nothing back
If I fight for me I'm told I'm wrong
Does anybody understand
How hard are they going to make me fight
How many burning flames must I fight
How many papers must I write
How long will the torture go on
When will happiness resume
Why do I have to try so hard when others don't have a clue
If any one of them could walk
Just on step in my shoes
I would not wish a whole mile on anybody
It's a load to bear and one with
No gratitude
