The Grace in Which We Stand
The Lord is not holding a grudge,
But He is coming back to judge;
To convict those with iniquity,
Immorally that should not be.
For all the sins that they have done,
Since their life on earth had begun;
For all the harsh things they have said,
That makes them spiritually dead.
Those that have a boasting domain,
Fault finders that always complain;
Having pride in their attitude,
In being arrogant and rude.
The flatterers who will brown nose,
An executive that he knows;
While trying to make some gain,
And speaking with the thoughts of vain.
Big mouths that ridicule the Lord,
Cursing His good Name and the Word;
Doing whatever requires,
To satisfy their desires.
But God can guard you not to fail,
And in the end you will prevail;
If you remain faithful and true,
A reward in Heaven awaits you.
