Poetry that thinks out loud

WISE MEN HEAR WHAT WISE MEN SAY

I often speak wise words, but they go un-heard
Give wisdom to others whose senses are blurred.
It's like a new lingo they don't understand
And wisdom now struggles when making a stand.

When wise words are spoken; to wise men they're clear
They understand wisdom in words that they hear.
But those with no wisdom will take no advice;
Ignore all the wise words and never think twice.

We all can know wisdom if we use our head
Along with our ears when we take in what's said.
For all we have done it has been done before;
By someone, now wiser, who can teach you more.
