Would You Dance With Me
Oh the question seems simple enough
but nothing in life is quite that easy
This we have danced around to many a year
the thought of crossing that line held fear for me
The friendship foundation was long ago proven
but my greatest fear for it to be lost
That my precious
would be too great a cost
But not to test the water
would be a tragic mistake
We both understand the risks
venturing in this life's wake
So many obstacles stand in our way
Distance, makes it impossible at best
Allowing only stolen moments in time
Time... Yes time will prove to be the greatest test
Our future???
Well it's in His hands you see
My question to you?
Would you dance with me?
