Life With Her
Though we've begun to rebuild our lives
My hope and prayers go out to Him
who made us so
Love was first born of Him, although
Agape it is love none the same
Love hers unique has conquered my demons
and I hold to her as I do Him, ever close
What dreams we have left are abundant enough
to make whole what once was broken
Life with her will be different and I will tend
to her every need for she has tended wounds
of her own for far too long
They say Angels walk amongst us, I believe
I've found mine, bliss has taken on real meaning
and I shall not let go
You see life with her is just beginning
Life... A four letter word easily spelled
but never lived
