~*~ That man who believed in the Word of Vedas Who lead his life on the path of righteousness Who had never spoken a lie, truthful in his life Who lived like the embodiment of divine truth Whose soul was pure like sun-fire, left this earth. Almost ninety-four years did he live like a sage. He is my father, a loving spouse to my mother In his form I had vision of the Lord of universe In my meditation he appeared as Shiva, the Lord Once he had told me: no one should lament for A departed soul, for the life on earth is transient Only by worldly attachments, the souls take birth; In truth our souls are identical to the Great God. Such a great soul my father; when he heard The call of God, like a swan of light took flight Towards Mount Kailas, the abode of Lord Siva And united with the universal self of Lord Siva.
